Lymphoma usually refers to malignant lymphoma, and common clinical manifestations include painless lymph node swelling, fever, and systemic symptoms such as wasting. Specific symptoms can be categorized into local symptoms and systemic symptoms.
1. Local symptoms: painless swelling of lymph nodes is a relatively common manifestation of lymphoma, which is mostly seen in lymph nodes of neck or supraclavicular lymph nodes, followed by axillary and inguinal lymph nodes. If the enlarged lymph nodes also compress the neighboring tissues and organs, it may also cause corresponding symptoms. Common symptoms include dysphagia, dyspnea, hydronephrosis and abdominal pain.
2. Systemic symptoms: Hodgkin’s lymphoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. If it is Hodgkin’s lymphoma, systemic symptoms such as fever, night sweats and fatigue are common. Some patients may also be accompanied by generalized itching of skin, lymph node pain after drinking alcohol and other manifestations.
In the advanced stage of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, fever, weight loss, night sweats and other symptoms may appear, but generalized itching is rare.
When similar symptoms occur, you should go to the hospital for examination and timely treatment after diagnosis, and the earlier the treatment, the earlier the cancer development can be controlled.
