The eye drops needed for more secretions from the eyelids are based on the nature of the secretions, if the amount of secretions is more than paste the eyes, are yellowish white, are considered bacterial infections. For bacterial infections, use antibacterial drugs and antibacterial eye drops, such as tobramycin eye drops, levofloxacin eye drops and gatifloxacin eye drops are routinely used. If the eye discharge is watery, accompanied by herpes on the eyelid or with cold symptoms, it is considered to be caused by a viral infection. If it is a viral infection, use antiviral eye drops, such as ganciclovir eye drops and antabuse eye drops. If the eye discharge is streaky and accompanied by itching of the eyelids, it may be considered to have allergic symptoms, so use anti-allergy eye drops, such as nalmivir eye drops and sodium cromoglycate eye drops.
