Giant cell tumor of bone level II is treated primarily with surgery, such as intratumoral curettage, marginal or wide resection. Giant cell tumor of bone is a junctional tumor that often invades the long bones, causing bone destruction, and most often occurs in young women. Patients mainly have localized pain and swelling, and may have concomitant symptoms such as limited joint movement and limb dysfunction. Giant cell tumor of bone grade II refers to the presence of destruction of cortical bone and aneurysmal bone changes. The main treatment used for grade II giant cell tumor of bone is intratumoral curettage, which is more effective for grade I and grade II giant cell tumors of bone. After curettage, the tumor can be filled with bone cement or a bone graft can be performed to fill the residual cavity. If the lesion involves the ilium and fibula, it can be treated with marginal or wide resection. It is recommended that patients seek timely medical treatment, choose the appropriate treatment under the guidance of the doctor, and actively carry out the treatment.
