What is the meaning of transient foci of enhancement in the arterial phase of the liver?

Transient foci of enhancement in the hepatic arterial phase are imaging findings that are usually transient perfusion abnormalities caused by pathologic factors or may be related to physiologic factors, and usually do not cause significant discomfort. Foci of transient enhancement in the hepatic arterial phase are limited, segmental, or diffuse abnormalities of hepatic hemodynamics that may appear as transient differences in hepatic density on imaging. It may be related to hepatitis, hepatic tuberculosis, and occupying diseases such as tumors, or physiological factors such as poor dietary habits, but in most cases it does not cause uncomfortable symptoms. It is recommended that patients maintain a good attitude, regular review, and once abnormalities are detected, they should consult a doctor in time to avoid delaying their condition.
