How to tell if a gastric sinus bulge is benign

Gastric antrum bulge may be caused by gastritis, gastric polyp, gastric cancer, etc. Identification of the cause and benign or malignant nature can be diagnosed by gastroscopy and pathological biopsy. 1. Gastritis: it is a benign disease, but long-term chronic gastritis may deteriorate. Gastroscopy and tissue biopsy can see gastric mucosal atrophy, visible submucosal blood vessels; some may also be accompanied by intestinal epithelial hyperplasia and other manifestations. 2. Gastric polyps: benign lesions. Microscopy and tissue biopsy can see localized edema and hyperplasia of the mucosa, and there may be localized ulcers or glandular cysts and other manifestations. 3. Gastric cancer: malignant lesion. Gastroscopy and pathological biopsy can see localized mass formation, which may be accompanied by erosion, bleeding and other manifestations, and obvious heterogeneous cells such as ring cells can be seen. It is recommended to go to the hospital in time when there is a bulge in the gastric sinus.
