Pure glass nodules in the dorsal segment of the lower lobe of the right lung may suggest the presence of inflammation, tuberculosis, or lung cancer in the patient’s lungs, and the patient is advised to undergo further examination to clarify the cause of the disease as early as possible. Patients can be treated by using drugs, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other means.
1. Lung inflammation: Pneumonia can be diagnosed by means of blood routine, sputum specimen culture, and biopsy via chest wall puncture. Pneumonia can be treated with antibiotics such as penicillin and cephalosporin. Pneumonia caused by viral infection can be treated with antiviral drugs such as ribavirin and acyclovir.
2. Tuberculosis: Tuberculosis can be diagnosed based on physical signs and sputum mycobacterium tuberculosis tests. After diagnosis of tuberculosis, anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid, rifampicin and ethambutol can be used for treatment.
3. Lung cancer: Lung cancer can be diagnosed through pathological examination and CT. After diagnosis, it can be treated with drugs such as gefitinib, erlotinib, bevacizumab and so on, and the lesion can also be removed by surgery. If necessary, chemotherapy or radiotherapy can also be chosen.
Patients are advised to seek early medical consultation and choose the appropriate treatment plan under the guidance of doctors.
