Rubella is caused by rubella virus infection, local rubbing medicine is ineffective, mild symptoms do not need treatment, serious symptoms need symptomatic treatment. Rubella is a common acute infectious disease caused by rubella virus infection, clinically characterized by low-grade fever, generalized rash, often accompanied by characteristic swelling of the lymph nodes behind the ears and occipital area. Most rubella patients with mild symptoms do not require special treatment. For a few patients with severe symptoms, bed rest and symptomatic treatment are sufficient. For those with high fever and headache, acetaminophen and other antipyretic and analgesic drugs should be given; those with obvious bleeding tendency should be treated with adrenocorticotropic hormone as appropriate, and blood transfusion should be given if necessary; in case of combined encephalitis, mannitol should be given intravenously in order to alleviate the cerebral edema as soon as possible, and chlorpromazine and isopromethazine should be used for treating the high fever and convulsions.
