What does an ultrasound of lymph node metastasis look like after esophageal cancer surgery?

Lymph node metastasis ultrasound after esophageal cancer surgery has manifestations such as lymph enlargement, unclear boundary and rich blood flow signal.
Surgery for esophageal cancer can only remove the tumor tissues visible to the naked eye, and the residual cancer cells will metastasize and spread along with the lymphatic system. Once lymph node metastasis occurs, when ultrasound examination is performed, there will be enlarged lymph nodes, unclear boundary, rich internal blood flow signal, destroyed lymphatic structure and disappearance of lymphatic gate, and so on.
The ultrasound examination alone is not able to fully determine, or need to further puncture biopsy or lymph node dissection to obtain specimens for pathological tissue analysis to be able to effectively diagnose.
