Scoliosis is often accompanied by pelvic tilt, but it does not always lead to pelvic tilt. If the angle of scoliosis is small and the number of segments is small, there will be no obvious pelvic tilt. Scoliosis is a deformity caused by unequal length of the lower limbs, poor posture, developmental abnormalities, and herniated intervertebral discs, which cause the segments of the spine to deviate from the midline of the body and curve to the side. If the scoliosis is not obvious, there can be no obvious symptoms, mostly found when doing X-ray examination, if the scoliosis is obvious, there can be two shoulder height, back pain, discomfort and other symptoms. Scoliosis with pelvic tilt is often accompanied by pelvic tilt because of the compensatory effect that occurs in the body after scoliosis in order to maintain the overall uprightness, but it does not necessarily lead to pelvic tilt, if the angle of the scoliosis is small and the segments are fewer, there will be no obvious pelvic tilt. When scoliosis is detected on examination, it is recommended to consult a doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions.
