How to treat aseptic prostatitis

Treatment of aseptic prostatitis is based on the application of medications, daily sitz baths and other treatments.
Aseptic prostatitis, the causative agent is not common bacteria such as Escherichia coli, but may be other microorganisms such as Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma mycoplasma, trichomonas, and so on. In the clinic, it is similar to chronic prostatitis, mostly manifested as long-term, recurrent perineal and lower abdominal pain, accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, etc., but there is no bacterial growth on prostate fluid examination.
Its treatment can be different antibiotics for different pathogens, such as mycoplasma and chlamydia infections with minocycline, trichomonas infections with metronidazole and so on. Alpha receptor blockers such as terazosin can also be used to relieve spasms. Daily sitz baths and weekly massages of the prostate should also be used.
