Fever is one of the common symptoms of advanced liver cancer.
Tumor fever
Most of them are low to moderate fever, which starts in the afternoon and can subside on its own, but a few patients may have high fever, above 39℃, but usually not accompanied by chills, which is caused by the release of pyrogen into the blood circulation after tumor tissue necrosis.
Infection fever
Tumor patients with low resistance are prone to co-infection and fever, which is sometimes not easily distinguished from cancer fever in liver cancer and can only be determined by combining the blood picture with the effectiveness of antibacterial therapy.
