At present, the test for H. pylori mainly includes rapid urease test, urea breath test and immunological test.
1. Rapid urease test: it is an invasive test, which mainly involves removing part of the gastric mucosa tissue through gastroscope and putting the tissue into reagents for testing. This method is simple to operate and has high accuracy.
2. Urea breath test: including carbon 13 urea breath test and carbon 14 urea breath test, this test is mainly through the breath out of the gas detection. It has the advantages of being non-invasive, accurate and convenient, but the results are easily affected by antibiotics and other drugs. Therefore, it is important to prohibit the use of such drugs in advance before performing this test.
3. Immunological testing: a monoclonal antibody enzyme-linked immunoassay to detect HP antigens in the stool, this method is simple, convenient, high sensitivity and accuracy, and serum blood test for HP antibodies, the antibody test can only mean that it has been infected with HP, and does not necessarily mean that it is infected now.
For patients, it is recommended to take a reasonable test under the guidance of the doctor for testing.
