How long can I live with advanced pancreatic tumours?

Survival in the late stages of cardia malignancy varies from person to person. Usually, the main factors affecting the long-term survival of patients are the presence of lymph node metastasis, whether the tumour infiltrates the plasma membrane, and whether radical surgery or palliative treatment is chosen. For example, if the lesion is confined to the mucosa or submucosa, the 5-year survival rate after resection can be over 90%. In the case of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, survival time is about 3 months without aggressive treatment, and active treatment can usually prolong life.
