A few years ago, there was a rumor that “sartans cause cancer” because a by-product of sartans in the production and preparation process of nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), or NDMA for short, has the risk of causing cancer if ingested in excess. However, at present, domestic and foreign in the sartan drugs in the NDMA and similar components set up a limited number of checks, so the regular listing of valsartan drugs can be used with confidence.
The adverse reactions of this product include cough, abdominal pain, dizziness, fatigue, myalgia, vasculitis, angioedema, rash, itching, etc. It is forbidden to use it for patients who are allergic to this drug, women during pregnancy, etc. It can not be used with Aliskiren when used by diabetic patients.
