Difference between heat rash and eczema in infants

Infant heat rash generally refers to prickly heat, and the difference with eczema is mainly manifested in the cause, symptoms and other aspects.
1. Causes: Prickly heat is generally due to high temperature and sultriness, resulting in prolonged impregnation of the skin with sweat and poor sweat drainage, causing skin inflammation; eczema is generally due to heredity, impaired skin barrier function, contact with allergens and other factors.
2. Symptoms: Prickly heat is mainly characterized by small blisters or pimple-like lesions on the skin, which are classified into four types: white prickly heat, red prickly heat, pus prickly heat and deep prickly heat. It is common in folds such as the neck, armpits and elbows, and may cause tingling and itching sensation; eczema usually shows skin changes such as erythema, pimples and blisters, and is more common on the cheeks, forehead, and scalp, which is often accompanied by itching.
Infantile heat rash is recommended to consult a doctor in time to confirm the diagnosis of the condition through relevant examinations.
