Lung nodules of 0.8 mm do not necessarily require surgery. Lung nodules less than 5mm belong to small nodules, mostly benign, but not except the possibility of malignant, need to be based on the degree of benign and malignant lung nodules to decide whether to operate. Benign nodules need to be treated according to the cause of the disease, such as tuberculosis-induced nodules can be treated with anti-tuberculosis drugs such as rifampicin, isoniazid, etc.; fungal infections caused by nodules can be treated with antifungal drugs such as fluconazole and miconazole, etc.; and bacterial infections can be treated with cephalosporin and penicillin antibiotics. If the nodule is very small, surgery is usually not needed, and regular review is required; if the nodule is larger > 1cm, surgery can be considered, which can be treated by thoracoscopic surgery, and open heart surgery can be considered for deeper nodules. As for malignant lung nodules, surgery is needed as soon as possible, together with chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other comprehensive treatment. Lung nodule patients should go to the hospital, smokers should quit smoking, eat more fruits and vegetables and protein-rich food, strengthen nutrition. Medications should be used under the guidance of a doctor and avoid self-medication.
