Menstruation does not go away often because of the following reasons: First, the endometrium is not repaired by insufficient estrogen, so the menstruation is not clean. Secondly, endometrial lesions, such as endometrial polyps, endometrial inflammation, atypical hyperplasia of the endometrium, or endometrial cancer may clinically cause incomplete menstruation. Thirdly, fibroids of the uterus, such as large interstitial fibroids or submucosal fibroids, can affect the contraction of the uterus, so they can also cause prolonged menstruation. Fourth, clinically functional uterine bleeding, which mostly occurs in adolescent or menopausal women, is recommended to be examined first and then given the appropriate treatment. If abnormalities in the endometrium or abnormal echogenicity are found, it is recommended to do diagnostic scraping and then give treatment according to the pathological diagnosis.
