IBD is a group of chronic non-specific intestinal inflammatory diseases whose etiology is not yet clear, mainly including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. It is mainly related to abnormal immune imbalance in the intestine caused by the interaction of various factors such as environment, genetics, and intestinal microecology.
Inflammatory bowel disease is mainly characterized by involvement of the jejunum, ileum, colon and rectum. Among them, ulcerative colitis is mainly characterized by recurrent diarrhea, mucopurulent blood stools and abdominal pain. Crohn’s disease is mainly characterized by abdominal pain, diarrhea and weight loss.
