Is it true that Pueraria Mirifica is very toxic?

There is no scientific evidence for the “great toxicity of Pueraria Mirifica”, and the correct use of Pueraria Mirifica is generally non-toxic. Clinical application requires the guidance of a medical professional.
It has the efficacy of warming the kidneys to consolidate semen and reduce urination (treating spermatorrhea and enuresis by warming the kidneys), and warming the spleen to stop diarrhea and take in saliva (treating diarrhea and excessive salivation by warming the spleen). It is mainly used for treating deficiency of spleen and stomach (weakness and coldness of spleen and stomach), vomiting, diarrhea, cold pain in the abdomen, excessive salivation in the mouth, urine retention due to deficiency of kidneys, frequent urination, spermatorrhea, and leucorrhoea (turbidity of urine like white slurry).
It is also contraindicated in cases of yin deficiency (deficiency of yin and essence in the body, resulting in hyperactivity of deficiency fire) and constipation.
If you feel unwell, it is advisable to consult a doctor. If medication is needed, it should be diagnosed by a doctor and regulated according to the doctor’s instructions.
