Interstitial pneumonia lesions are mostly located in the interstitium and alveolar spaces of the lungs.
Interstitial pneumonia is an inflammatory and fibrotic disease of the interstitium of the lungs caused by a variety of reasons, and the lesions mainly invade the interstitium and alveolar spaces, including alveolar epithelial cells, capillary endothelial cells, basement membranes, as well as blood vessels, lymphatic vessels and the surrounding tissues, which ultimately cause interstitial fibrosis, leading to the loss of alveolar-capillary function.
Interstitial pneumonia is partly of unknown etiology, partly secondary to other diseases, related to inhalation of irritating gases, dust, etc. Some nodular tissue diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus, polymyositis, etc., and medications such as interferon and amiodarone can also cause interstitial pneumonia. The main manifestations are dry cough and chest pain.
If the above symptoms occur, you should go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and standardize the treatment.
