Can colon cancer stage 3b be cured?

Colon cancer stage III type b, i.e. colon cancer stage IIIB, can obtain a certain clinical cure rate after active treatment.
Colon cancer is a common malignant tumor of gastrointestinal tract, and many factors can lead to the disease, such as heredity, gene mutation, bad dietary habits and so on. Stage IIIB is one of the clinical stages, which represents various conditions such as tumor invasion to the intrinsic muscle layer; occurrence of 4~6 regional lymph node metastasis; and no distant metastasis.
This period belongs to the middle late stage, and surgery, radiotherapy, targeted therapy and other therapies can be performed according to the patient’s condition. After active treatment, the five-year survival rate of stage IIIB colon cancer patients is about 60%. Regular review after surgery can reduce recurrence.
