Facial symptoms of bad lungs

If the lungs are bad, they are usually asymptomatic or appear pale and blue. When lung function is severely impaired, cyanosis of the face and lips and even bulbar conjunctival edema may occur.

Bad lungs often represent a patient with reduced respiratory function and varying degrees of hypoxia. When the lung function is mildly impaired, the patient has no obvious symptoms, or only shows a pale, blue face and poor skin elasticity.

Severe impairment of lung function, representing the patient’s lack of oxygen is serious, at this time there will be more obvious dark color, face, lips appear cyanosis.

When hypoxia reaches a certain degree and carbon dioxide retention occurs, the patient will have facial flushing, wet and cold skin, bulbar conjunctival edema and other manifestations.

However, lung diseases cannot be identified by facial symptoms. It is better to have regular medical checkups and timely medical consultation to avoid aggravation of the condition.
