Stage IV gastric cancer, the five-year survival rate after treatment is about 5%~10%, which needs to be analyzed in the light of specific conditions. Stomach cancer is a malignant tumor caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, heredity and other factors. Stage IV gastric cancer indicates that it has reached advanced stage with distant metastasis. Since there is almost no chance of surgery in this period, it is mostly treated by non-surgical therapies, such as palliative chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, etc. Interventional therapy and supportive therapy can also be used. Symptomatic treatment can also be provided through interventional therapy and supportive therapy. The purpose of treatment for advanced gastric cancer patients is to improve their quality of life and prolong their survival period, and after active treatment, the five-year survival rate can be about 5%~10%. If patients have high sensitivity to drugs, the survival cycle will be prolonged accordingly.
