What are the symptoms of cervical spine enlargement of five or six vertebrae?

Cervical spine hyperplasia may not have any symptoms, or it may produce different symptoms due to the compression of different structures. Common symptoms include neck discomfort, upper limb weakness, dizziness, nausea, panic, insomnia, and a feeling of cotton when walking.

1. Neck discomfort: The first symptom of most cervical spondylosis is often neck discomfort, which is specifically manifested as neck pain and restricted movement.

2. Weakness of upper limbs: If the hyperplasia of five or six cervical vertebrae oppresses the nerve roots that innervate the upper limbs, the typical symptoms are weakness of upper limbs as well as numbness and pain in the fingers, etc. The first symptom of cervical spondylosis is the pain in the neck.

3. Dizziness, nausea: hyperplasia may also compress the vertebral artery, affecting the blood supply to the brain, resulting in dizziness, nausea and other symptoms of cerebral ischemia.

4. Panic, insomnia: If the five or six cervical vertebrae hyperplasia compresses the sympathetic nerves to form sympathetic cervical spondylosis, in addition to dizziness, headache, nausea, tinnitus, there will also be panic, insomnia and other symptoms of sympathetic nerve compression.

5. Cotton feeling when walking: If the compression of the spinal cord leads to spinal cord cervical spondylosis, there is often numbness and weakness of the lower limbs, typically manifested as a feeling of cotton feeling or unsteady walking.

Cervical five or six hyperplasia if the above symptoms, it is recommended that timely medical treatment, improve the relevant examination, a clear diagnosis, and then follow the doctor’s instructions for formal diagnosis and treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
