Bladder nerve disorders urinary frequency and urgency may be caused by overactive bladder or neurogenic bladder. The causes are different and so are the treatments, which generally include medication and surgery. 1. Overactive bladder: For mild overactive bladder, it can be regulated with bladder-stabilizing medications, such as tolterodine tablets and solenacin tablets. Surgery, such as cystoplasty, should also be considered in particularly severe cases. 2. Neurogenic bladder: For neurogenic bladder, when there is nerve damage, drugs such as methylcobalamin can be applied to improve the condition, repair the damaged nerves, and with the use of drugs such as tolterodine to reduce the mobility of the bladder, and the use of drugs such as midodrine hydrochloride to improve the function of the bladder smooth muscle. Bladder enlargement may also be considered when lesions are particularly severe.
