Normally, ovulation occurs 24-36 hours after chorionic villus urging.
After a woman’s follicles develop and mature, the luteinizing hormone (LH) in her body will rise significantly, reaching a peak 24~36 hours before ovulation. 24-36 hours after LH reaches its peak, the dominant follicle will rupture and ovulation will occur.
Chorionic gonadotropin, also known as human chorionic gonadotropin, contains a structure similar to that of LH and has the effect of promoting follicular maturation and facilitating ovulation. After the follicle has matured, chorionic gonadotropin is injected, and its effect is equivalent to the body’s LH reaching its peak value. Therefore, if there is a dominant follicle in a woman’s body, ovulation usually occurs 24 to 36 hours after chorionic gonadotropin.
