Itchy back is not an early sign of cancer, it may be caused by eczema, folliculitis, neurodermatitis and so on.
1. Eczema: Inflammation of the superficial dermis and epidermis caused by a variety of internal and external factors, is a common dermatologic disease, may lead to itching. Often in the high temperature, humidity, airtight environment may lead to patients with back eczema, feel itchy back.
2. Folliculitis: Folliculitis is a common inflammatory skin disease of hair follicles, which may occur in any hair follicle part of the body, and may cause pus, itching, pain and other symptoms. Prolonged exposure to poor hygiene or long-term use of hormones, immunosuppressants and other drugs may lead to folliculitis on the patient’s back, resulting in itchy back.
3. Neurodermatitis: Neurodermatitis is a class of chronic skin disease, also known as chronic lichen simplex. The patient’s clinical symptoms to paroxysmal intense itching as the main manifestation, usually occurs in the neck, wrist, back and other locations. Frequent scratching or low immunity may lead to neurodermatitis and itchy back.
