What are the symptoms of nasal cancer in the middle and late stages

Nasal cancer in middle and late stages will have symptoms related to neck lump, hearing loss, headache, nosebleed, nasal congestion and runny nose, facial pain, blurred vision, Horner’s syndrome and metastasis of cancer cells. 1. Neck lump: Most middle and late-stage nasal cancer patients discover nasopharyngeal cancer only after they find neck lump unintentionally. 2. Hearing loss: ear pain and tinnitus will occur when the tumor presses the ear nerves. 3. Headache: characterized by continuous pain at the top of the throat. 4. Nosebleed: most patients have the symptom of nosebleed, in mild cases, there is blood in the nasal mucus, in severe cases, there is a lot of bleeding. 5. Nasal congestion or runny nose: Nasal congestion may be sporadic at first, and eventually there will be persistent congestion on one side of the nose. 6. Horner’s syndrome: when the tumor enlarges and compresses the brain nerves, it will cause shrinkage of pupils, narrowing of eyelid fissures, and absence of facial sweating. 9. Symptoms of cancer metastasis: when cancer cells metastasize to different parts, different symptoms will appear.
