Cervical cancer includes three types: squamous carcinoma, adenocarcinoma and adenosquamous carcinoma, among which the cervical cancer that is most likely to recur is adenocarcinoma of the cervix.
1. Squamous carcinoma: it is the most common type of cervical cancer, which can be mainly categorized into exophytic, ulcerative, endophytic and cervical canal type.
2. adenocarcinoma: due to its lower diagnostic rate, better differentiation and poorer prognosis, it leads to its easier recurrence compared with the other two types of cervix.
3. Adenosquamous carcinoma: it is a type of cervical cancer with mixed occurrence of squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma, which generally has a poorer prognosis.
Recurrence of cervical cancer is not only related to the type of cervical cancer, but also related to the patient’s own immunity, postoperative care as well as postoperative diet, scope of surgical resection, etc. If the cervical cancer recurs after surgery, one should seek medical treatment in time.
