Clinical manifestations of urinary tract infections

Urinary tract infection is categorized into cystitis, pyelonephritis, asymptomatic bacteriuria and complicated urinary tract infection, and the symptoms of each type of urinary tract infection are different. Cystitis often has symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and painful urination; pyelonephritis has systemic symptoms such as fever and low back pain in addition to urgency, frequency, and painful urination; asymptomatic bacteriuria has no symptoms; and complicated urinary tract infections can have manifestations such as cystitis and pyelonephritis. Urinary tract infection is divided into cystitis, pyelonephritis, asymptomatic bacteriuria and complicated urinary tract infection, and the symptoms of each type of urinary tract infection are different. Cystitis: the main manifestations are frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain. There may be suprapubic pain or pressure pain, and some patients may have difficulty in urination. 2. Pyelonephritis: urinary urgency, frequent urination, painful urination, fever, chills, headache, lumbago and so on. 3. Asymptomatic bacteriuria: there is true bacteriuria, but without any clinical symptoms. 4. Complex urinary tract infection: urinary tract infection accompanied by structural or functional abnormalities of the urinary system, manifested by frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain and other symptoms of cystitis and pyelonephritis, and severe patients may have sepsis or bacteremia. If the patient has a urinary tract infection, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital in a timely manner, under the guidance of the doctor standardized treatment.
