What are the causes of high alanine aminotransferase and uric acid?

High alanine aminotransferase is categorized into three main conditions, a liver disease, a pharmacologic factor, and an extrahepatic disease. High urea is related to the diet consumed, purine metabolism in the body and the low excretion of uric acid. 1. Causes of high alanine aminotransferase: (1) Liver disease: drug-induced hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver, alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, and liver cancer may lead to elevated alanine aminotransferase. (2) Pharmacologic factors: There are specific medications that may also cause alanine aminotransferase to rise, such as barbiturates, chemotherapeutic drugs, antibiotics, and aspirin. (3) Extra-hepatic diseases: severe muscle injury, progressive muscular dystrophy, dermatomyositis, and renal infarction may all lead to a rise in alanine aminotransferase. 2. Causes of high uric acid: High uric acid is generally related to the intake of high-purine foods, in addition, there may be a problem with purine metabolism in the body. Furthermore, the excretion of uric acid gradually decreases, uric acid can not be excreted normally, all these factors may lead to elevated uric acid. High alanine aminotransferase, high uric acid are abnormal phenomena, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital to improve the relevant examination and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment.
