How much milk is best to drink per day

There is no such thing as how much milk is the best to drink every day. The Dietary Guidelines for Chinese Residents recommend 300 to 500ml of milk every day.
Milk is rich in nutrients. Every 100g of milk contains 3.3g of protein, 3.6g of fat, 180mg of potassium and 107mg of calcium. The proteins in milk are high quality animal proteins, and moderate consumption can ensure the body’s demand for protein. Its calcium content is rich and has a high absorption rate, making it an ideal source of calcium for the body.
For minors, a daily intake of 500 ml of milk is very conducive to growth and development, and due to the greater nutritional needs, the amount of milk consumed daily can be increased appropriately. For adults, a daily intake of 500 ml of milk can basically satisfy their daily nutritional needs.
Although milk is rich in nutrients, it is not recommended to drink too much. Milk contains a high amount of fat, for high blood lipid levels, or weight loss people can choose skimmed milk.
