How to tell when lymph node tuberculosis has cleared up

Whether lymph node tuberculosis is fully recovered or not can be judged by the course of treatment, clinical symptoms, laboratory test results, and imaging results. The treatment of lymph node tuberculosis needs a long time, usually the anti-TB time is about 1 year, divided into intensive period and consolidation period, and it is necessary to complete the full course of treatment to recover. After complete recovery, the clinical symptoms of lymph node tuberculosis will be completely relieved, body temperature will return to normal, night sweats, weakness, fatigue and other symptoms will disappear, and the previously palpable enlarged lymph nodes will return to normal. After complete recovery from lymph node tuberculosis, the results of commonly used laboratory tests, such as routine blood tests, C-reactive protein, and blood sedimentation, also return to normal. Imaging studies of the lymph nodes, such as ultrasound, CT, and MRI, indicate that the enlarged lymph nodes have returned to normal.
