If diagnosed with early stage breast cancer, it means that no bone metastasis has occurred. Early stage breast cancer can be cured by radical surgery and after surgery with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. There is a possibility of bone metastasis in the follow-up of the disease course, and the chance of bone metastasis is around 20% or 30%, indicating that breast cancer patients may develop bone metastasis in the course of long-term survival. Bone is the most likely target organ of breast cancer to metastasize. After bone metastasis occurs, the main manifestations are bone pain and pathological fracture, and filling defect is found by CT, MRI and bone scan. However, breast cancer bone metastasis can be treated to prolong the patient’s survival. If there is only simple bone metastasis and it is hormone receptor positive breast cancer, endocrine therapy is very effective. If there is significant bone pain, it can be treated with local radiotherapy or particle implantation.
