Can ashwagandha be used to treat corns?

Ashwagandha is generally not available for the treatment of corns. Patients with corns can be treated with medications such as corns cream and salicylic acid ointment under doctor’s supervision, or choose physical treatments such as freezing and radiofrequency. Ashwagandha is mainly used for the treatment of fungal skin diseases such as tinea capitis, tinea cruris, tinea pedis, etc. It may not be effective for the treatment of corns. Corns are usually caused by long-term friction and extrusion of the foot skin, which leads to keratin proliferation. When corns are not treated in time, they may be painful and even affect walking. Patients can use corns cream, salicylic acid ointment and other drugs under the guidance of the doctor for treatment. For the more serious patients can take frozen, radiofrequency or surgical methods of treatment. Once patients have corns, they can choose the appropriate medication for treatment under the guidance of the doctor and according to the actual condition, to avoid further aggravation of the condition caused by random use of medication.
