How young is normal for a baby to walk

It is normal for normally developing infants to walk around the age of one, and it is generally not recommended that children be taught to walk too early.
Every infant develops differently and some infants develop earlier and walk faster. It is normal for a 9-month-old infant to need an adult to hold the armpit to walk, and for a 1-year-old infant to be able to walk on his or her own holding onto a railing.
It is not recommended that infants learn to walk too early. At this time, infants’ bones are in the process of development, and the leg muscles are not strong enough to carry the weight of the entire body, which in turn may result in abnormal muscle development and may cause damage to the hip joints.
Learning to walk too early can also cause the legs to bend, making them prone to X- and O-shaped legs. At around one year of age, the legs are strong enough to support the body and basically start walking independently.
If your baby starts walking too late, you need to seek medical attention to rule out pathological causes.
