What’s wrong with constipation and blood in the stool?

Constipation and blood may be caused by hemorrhoids, anal fissure and rectal cancer.
1. Hemorrhoids: hemorrhoids are caused by varicose veins, if the defecation time is too long, defecation excessive force may lead to increased varicose veins, coupled with constipation, the patient’s stool is hard and thick diameter stool, in the stool friction to the hemorrhoids, hemorrhoids may rupture bleeding phenomenon, the clinical manifestation of blood in the stool.
2. Anal fissure: the pathogenesis of anal fissure is not clear, it is a small ulcer formed after the skin of anal canal is cracked, common triggering causes include constipation, anal trauma, etc. Due to the cracking of the skin of the anal canal, the subcutaneous capillary rupture may occur in the patients with constipation and blood in stool.
3. Rectal Cancer: Constipation and blood in stool of patients with rectal cancer is usually caused by rupture of cancerous tumor, which may lead to anal irritation and sometimes there is blood in stool, which is mostly pus and blood.
It is recommended that patients should go to the hospital promptly after the symptoms of constipation and blood in stool appear.
