Chicken Neijin has the effects of strengthening the stomach and eliminating food, astringing spermatozoa and stopping spermatorrhea (consolidating semen and preventing spermatorrhea), and clearing gonorrhea and dissolving stones. It has the effect of treating dietary stagnation, pediatric chancre (a kind of chronic disease of children, manifesting as emaciation, abnormal diet, abdominal distension, thinning and yellowing of hair, etc.), and spermatorrhea with kidney deficiency.
Chicken Neijin is the lining of the sand sac of the domestic chicken, an animal of the pheasant family. It is used in the treatment of dietary stagnation, pediatric chilblains, spermatorrhea with kidney deficiency, enuresis, and gonorrhea with gravel (increased frequency of urination, dribbling and astringent pain), etc. It is also used in the treatment of the disease of chilblains.
