What is the difference between Lovoxil and Irbesartan?

Amlodipine benzenesulfonate tablets, known generically as Lovoxil, are differentiated from Irbesartan by the indications for the drug and its mechanism of action. Amlodipine benzenesulfonate tablets are used in the treatment of hypertension and coronary heart disease. Amlodipine benzenesulfonate can reduce calcium ions in the smooth muscle of blood vessels, and control the blood pressure within the ideal range. Adverse effects include low blood pressure, cardiac arrhythmia, dyspepsia and so on. It should be used with caution in pregnant and lactating women, and those with severe hepatic impairment. Irbesartan is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension, as well as type 2 diabetic nephropathy combined with hypertension. Irbesartan can effectively reduce the number of aldosterone receptors in the body and attenuate the intensity of vasoconstriction, thus controlling the blood pressure within the desired range. Adverse effects include dizziness, tachycardia, and dyspepsia. It is contraindicated in the 4th to 9th month of pregnancy and in nursing mothers. If you need to take the above antihypertensive medication due to a medical condition, it is recommended that you decide on the dosage and learn the precautions after a comprehensive assessment of your condition by your doctor.
