Facial paralysis mostly refers to peripheral facial paralysis, usually caused by facial neuritis. Rehabilitation training mainly includes physical therapy, traditional rehabilitation therapy and functional rehabilitation training. 1. Physical therapy: mainly includes infrared ray, ultra-short wave therapy, electrical stimulation therapy, etc., which helps patients to relieve symptoms and effectively promote the recovery of facial nerve function. 2. Traditional rehabilitation therapy: common methods such as massage, acupuncture, etc. help patients relieve symptoms and have certain effects on facial paralysis. 3. Functional rehabilitation training: It helps to restore facial symmetry, voluntary control of facial muscles, and inhibit abnormal joint-band movement. (1) Self-massage: Massage the paralyzed facial muscles, and press and knead the root of the palm from the corner of the mouth on the affected side upward in a spiral fashion for 5-10 minutes each time, 2-3 times a day, and the strength should be soft and moderate. (2) Exercise in the mirror: patients face the mirror with different speeds and amplitudes of movement, do eyebrow lifting, blinking, smiling, pouting, showing teeth, puffing out the cheeks, 2~3 times a day, 10~20 times for each movement training. (3) Daily life exercises; patients practice eating and drinking and try their best to keep their eyes open to promote functional recovery. Facial paralysis also includes central facial paralysis, and the treatment is mainly based on the primary disease. It is recommended that patients with facial paralysis should consult a doctor in time and be treated under the guidance of a professional doctor, and should not exercise blindly to avoid adverse consequences.
