Early signs of bladder cancer

The early sign of bladder cancer is painless hematuria. The first symptom of the vast majority of bladder cancer patients is painless hematuria. If the tumor is located in or near the delta, hematuria is often terminal. If the tumor bleeds more, hematuria can also appear throughout. Hematuria may appear intermittently, and often stops or decreases on its own, which may cause the illusion of “self-cure” or “improvement”. If hematuria is serious, it may cause urinary retention because of blood clots blocking the urethra. The degree of hematuria may not be consistent with the size, number and malignancy of tumor. When bladder cancer continues to aggravate, it may also lead to some other abnormal urination symptoms, such as increased nocturia, painful urination, poor urination, frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, and may cause some obvious complications, such as hydronephrosis and urinary retention, if it is not treated for a long time. Therefore, when the symptom of painless hematuria appears, one should be alerted to bladder cancer, and it is recommended to seek medical treatment for detailed examination.
