Accuracy of conization pathology or biopsy

Both conization pathology and biopsy are more accurate. Conization pathology and biopsy pathology are both pathological examinations, both can be clear through the examination of the local tissue with or without pathological changes, both belong to the gold standard for diagnosing diseases, the two in the scope of the specimen and the clinical significance of the difference. Cervical conization pathology needs to remove all diseased tissues, and generally the biopsy specimen is complete, while biopsy pathology only selects the tissues of the cervix that may be diseased for examination, and its specimen is incomplete. Cervical conization pathology can understand whether the lesion is cleanly removed and whether there is any lesion at the edge of its removal, which is of guiding significance to the follow-up treatment and disease prognosis, while cervical biopsy pathology can only represent the localization of the cervix with or without the occurrence of cancerous lesions. Usually, the biopsy pathology is done first, and then the conization pathology is done. Women with cervical problems needing cervical conization should go to a regular hospital and have a professional doctor perform the procedure.
