The causes of internal cold include inborn insufficiency of endowment (inborn constitution and poor functioning), deficiency of yang qi; or external cold and evil, which can be seen in pale face, fear of cold and warmth, and lack of warmth in the limbs. The so-called internal cold is mainly due to the lack of innate endowment, yang qi deficiency; or long-term illness injury to yang; or external cold, wantonly eat cold, damage to yang qi. Symptoms are mainly manifested as pale face, fear of cold and warmth, lack of warmth in the limbs, pale tongue with white slippery moss and weak pulse; contracture of tendons and veins (muscle tension and stiffness), paralysis and pain in the limbs and joints; and stagnation of water and liquid leading to frequent and clear urination, thin stools, and oedema. If the body has internal cold caused by the uncomfortable symptoms, it is recommended to go to the regular hospital as soon as possible and take the relevant treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
