Chinese herbs that can be used to treat tinnitus include Deafness Zuo Ci Pill, Qi Ju Di Huang Wan, Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, and so on. Deafness Zuo Ci Wan is composed of magnetite (calcined), ripened dihuang, cornelian cherry (made), ze diarrhea, poria, mudanpi, yam and so on. It is used for dizziness and tinnitus caused by yin deficiency of liver and kidney, tearing in the wind and blurred vision. It is not suitable for patients with cold and fever. 3. Six-flavored Dihuang Pill, composed of ripened rhubarb, cornelian cherry, Chinese yam, mudanpi, poria, zedoary. It is used for dizziness and tinnitus caused by kidney yin deficiency, lumbar and knee pain and weakness, bone vapor and tidal fever (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat comes from inside the bone to the outside), night sweating (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up), and spermatorrhea. Avoid indigestible food.
