What to look for when you have pain inside your nose



Pain inside the nose should be alerted to nasal vestibulitis, nasal boils, nasal ulcers, nasal vestibular cysts secondary infection.

1. Nasal vestibulitis: pain in the nose may be caused by nasal vestibulitis, which is a diffuse inflammation of the skin of the nasal vestibule, mostly due to frequent nose picking or bacterial infection.

2. Nasal boil: It is a limited purulent inflammation of the hair follicles, sebaceous glands or sweat glands in the nasal vestibule, tip and wings of the nose, with the nasal vestibule being the most common. It can be seen as a bulge in the nasal vestibule with obvious infiltration around it, characterized by redness, swelling, heat and pain.

3. Nasal ulcers: mostly occurring in the mucous membrane of the nasal septum or turbinate, usually feeling dry and painful discomfort.

4. Nasal vestibular cysts secondary infection: Nasal vestibular cysts secondary to bacterial infection, feel the swelling and pain in the nose.
