Anti-inflammatory drugs of choice for phlebitis

Phlebitis has a complex etiology and anti-inflammatory drugs are not always preferred. Its treatment requires a combination of drugs and, if necessary, surgery. There are many medication measures for phlebitis, and anti-inflammatory drugs are not always preferred for anti-infective treatment. For phlebitis that leads to skin ulcers, damage and infection, penicillin, cephalosporin and other anti-infective drugs are preferred for treatment. However, for non-infectious phlebitis, anti-infective treatment is not preferred. For larger superficial phlebitis, anticoagulant therapy with low molecular heparin is usually preferred if there is a combination of small-vessel embolism or high risk factors for thrombosis. Surgery is usually preferred in cases of progressive venous thrombosis spreading to the saphenous veins of the lower extremities, thrombosed superficial phlebitis due to varicose veins, and septic thrombophlebitis. The above drugs need to be used under the guidance of a clinician and unauthorized use is prohibited. The treatment of phlebitis is a comprehensive treatment process, the specific measures preferred for treatment, clinicians need to be based on the condition of the comprehensive judgment.
