The whole process of gastroscopic colonoscopy is preparation, doctor’s operation, doctor’s sample, and completion of the examination. 1. Preparation: The patient lies on his side and waits for the doctor to insert the gastroscope through his mouth. And the colonoscopy is first done by the doctor to do rectal fingerprinting to see if there are tumors, hemorrhoids and so on. 2. Doctor’s operation: the doctor inserts the gastroscope slowly into the cardia and into the duodenal bulb, and then adjusts the depth of the gastroscope to observe the duodenum, the fundus of the stomach, and the esophagus segments. And for colonoscopy, the front end of the colonoscope is first coated with lubricant and the lens is slid into the anus for examination under the doctor’s guidance. 3. Doctor sampling: The doctor will videotape the lesion, biopsy and brush the cell smear or perform endoscopic treatment to help diagnose and treat the disease. 4. Completion of the examination: The doctor will help the patient to take out the examination instrument and the patient can leave after rest and observation. During gastroscopy and enteroscopy, if the patient has any discomfort, it is recommended to inform the doctor in time to deal with it, to avoid causing adverse consequences.
