Cancer drugs are generally on the expensive side, with the cheapest drugs costing several hundred dollars a piece, and expensive ones, such as the recently popular PD-1, are about 40,000-50,000 yuan a piece, one a week. Personally, I thought that the cost of treatment is different for different cancers. The most common type of lung cancer, chemotherapy by applying drugs alone, can cost about$200,000 within a year, but that does not include radiotherapy, herbal medicine and interventional treatment. Therefore, drugs for cancer should be chosen carefully. Imported drugs are more expensive than domestic ones because of the patent copyright issue involved, and are generally more than 50% more expensive.
