This product is often used in combination with Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix forsythiae, Radix et Rhizoma Ginseng, Salviae Miltiorrhizae, etc., to treat heartburn and thirst, body heat and night fever caused by warm disease with heat entering the camp; and with Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata and Maitong, to treat heat disease with injury to the yin, and constipation with injury to fluid.
Adverse effects of this product is not clear, but it should be noted that can not be used with quinoa, the spleen and stomach with dampness and spleen deficiency and loose stools should be avoided.
