The method of circumcision is either manual removal of the excess prepuce or removal with the assistance of instruments. Manual excision is mostly done under general anesthesia or local anesthesia, where the doctor measures the length of the prepuce and the degree of narrowing of the external foreskin opening without an erect penis, expands the narrowing of the external foreskin opening after anesthesia, then exposes the glans, removes the secretions on the glans and the foreskin scale inside the foreskin, removes the excess foreskin with a scalpel along the marked line, and then closes the wound with interrupted sutures using absorbable thread to complete the surgery. If the circumcision is assisted by instruments, it is mostly seen with the anastomosis and circumcision ring. Again, the area to be removed is measured and marked with a good line, the circumcision ring or anastomosis is placed inside the foreskin and the outer cavity of the circumcision ring or anastomosis is applied externally, and the cutting suture is completed at once using the instruments. This method generally does not cause bleeding and does not require the use of silk or absorbable thread sutures, so the post-operative aesthetics are better and the procedure takes less time.
